But it won’t be the last.
The UK has announced it will extend the existing phase for another four years.
The UK government said that the phase will be extended by another four months from July 2019 to December 2020, in line with a commitment to boost employment for overseas students.
That announcement comes on top of the previous government’s announcement that it would extend the postgrad visa for another two years, from December 2020 to June 2021.
It’s a similar story for UK students working in the UK, who will also be allowed to apply for the new visa during the extension period.
That will take effect from the end of the first week of July 2019.
However, if you’ve already worked in the US for more than six months in the past two years you won’t get the new offer.
You’ll need to apply again for the visa before it will be available to you.
